The Tea Party is like the passionate mob that used to gather in the town square with pitchforks and torches shouting at the gates for their fair share of food and land. The Democratic left wing is offering them that fair share by standing up to the biggest historical villain in America (and beyond)...Wall St. The fracture in the GOP is between the Big Money Establishment and Joe Sixpack. The fracture in the Democratic Party is similar except our guys drink wine. We may find that the Tea Party will turn out to be our biggest ally. We just need to get the mob moving in our direction by telling them that Wall St. is destroying the environment for profit - which has the advantage of being true. Plus, I think I saw Joe Sixpack standing behind the bar smoking a joint. And maybe Elizabeth Warren is the Pied Piper.
